Attention Adrianne Garner
FPAWS answers the calls from caregivers from around the State of Washington and at times from around the world.
They call FPAWS because they don't feel judged and they feel that every call is important.
“If it wasn’t for FPAWS; the baby we loved from birth to 9 months and were about to adopt, would have been traumatized by a move to another foster home where a half-sibling lived.” Foster/Adopt Mom
“If it wasn’t for FPAWS support we would have been put in a position where we would be required to give our foster baby milk from a bio-mother known to be using drugs.” Foster Mom
By building trusting relationships with Children’s Administration and community partners; FPAWS works to assure the voice of foster, kinship and adoptive parents is taken seriously. FPAWS is there to assure all caregivers get the training they need to move the culture of foster care in a positive direction. We speak with a unifying voice as we look at the world through the eyes of parent and child.
We are all working so the children that come into the out of home system will have the best experience possible. We believe that the families taking them in deserve the respect and support of the community.
